


Choral Director to The Company at Wyong Musical Theatre Company: Esther is a distinguished and versatile musician whose expertise spans cello, piano, violin, double bass, cornet, harp, and choral direction. Her musical journey began under the guidance of renowned Suzuki teacher trainer Belinda Manwaring, laying a strong technical and artistic foundation from an early age. Esther attended the Conservatorium High School in Sydney, where in her final year she was appointed concertmaster on the cello by internationally acclaimed conductor Nicholas Milton. She has since gone on to build a rich career as both performer and educator, teaching strings and piano at the Tamworth and Gunnedah Conservatoriums. Passionate about fostering music in the community, Esther runs her own “Music from the Heart” workshops and eisteddfods, creating opportunities for musicians of all ages to grow in confidence and connection. She also serves as Band Master for the Avondale Brass Band, reflecting the breadth of her musical leadership. At Lakes Grammar, where she currently teaches, Esther conducts multiple choirs and ensembles, inspiring young musicians through vibrant, skill-building music programs. Within Wyong Musical Theatre Company, she served as Director/Musical Director for WMTC’s 2024 production of Treasure Island.
